"TODOS SOMOS ROCK" ...se parte de este evento

[HARD ROCK SAN JUAN]

Amigos Rockeros:


Katrina, el fenómeno natural más catastrófico en la historia de los Estados Unidos, ha traído consigo tristeza y desolación a los habitantes de la región del Golfo de Méjico en los Estados Unidos incluyendo a nuestros hermanos “Hard Rockers” en las ciudades de Nueva Orleans y Biloxi. Todos estos hermanos actualmente sufren un dolor inimaginable tras la pérdida de sus techos, sus trabajos y, en algunos casos, hasta sus seres queridos.


Esta tragedia toca directamente a todos los que trabajamos en Hard Rock Café y nos identificamos de inmediato con una de nuestras filosofías como empresa: “ALL IS ONE” (Todos somos uno). Guiados por este pensamiento y en un acto de solidaridad, nuestra empresa ha activado varios mecanismos que nos permitirán realizar una aportación económica a la Cruz Roja Americana, como el programa de “Crank it Up” en el cual nuestros clientes redondean el total de su cuenta al dólar más cercano y donan esos centavos a este fondo. Además, hoy martes, 6 de septiembre, se llevará a cabo un concierto benéfico con la agrupación Velvet Revolver en el Hard Rock Live de Orlando, Florida con el cual se espera recaudar más de $150,000. También se ha diseñado un “pin” edición limitada para esta eventualidad y el 100% del dinero generado de las ventas del mismo irán destinadas a la Cruz Roja Americana.


Nosotros en Hard Rock San Juan hemos decidido unirnos a estos esfuerzos y durante los días 30 de septiembre y 1 de octubre realizaremos un evento al que hemos titulado “TODOS SOMOS ROCK” en el cual participarán sobre doce bandas de Rock locales que donarán su talento en un acto altruista para esta buena causa. Hard Rock Café Internacional se ha comprometido con nosotros a igualar los fondos recaudados en este evento destinados a ayudar a nuestros hermanos “Hard Rockers” víctimas de esta tragedia.


Por estas razones queremos hacerles extensiva una invitación a ser parte de este esfuerzo. Al momento tenemos espacios abiertos para las bandas que quieran participar en este evento. Los interesados pueden enviar un email a la direccion san_juan_sales@hardrock.com para mas detalles. La aportación de su tiempo y talento para este evento será inmensamente significativo para estos hermanos nuestros en desgracia. Siempre hemos podido contar con ustedes y sabemos que esta no será una excepción.
