Handsome Dick Manitoba/Top Ten y compañia ,The Almithy Dictators ,sin ellos no hubiera existido nada.

Los Dolls son claro esta muy muy adelantados a su tiempo,sin estos ni los Dictators ni los Ramones hubieran salido.

Stooges,que eran los rolling stones sin saber tocar,tiraron el comienzo de todo, a mi entender en cuanto a musica cruda y tocada simple y los Velvets y MC5 en las liricas y la actitud respectivamente aportaron lo suyo en la creacion.

todos son tremendos grupos so votaria por todos a la vez.

p.s. pusiste grupos de garage rock que aparecen en la compilacion Nuggets y grupos hasta cotemporraneos con The Ramones(Richard Hell,Television) y no los pusiste a ellos(Ramones)...

anyways te faltaria poner Wayne County and The Backstreet Boys y The Doors como proto-punks tambien...

Son bandas que como quien dice, germinaron la semilla del punk en los 60. No creo que sea tanto la musica, por que muchas son "bluesy", sino en la actitud.

De las que estan ahi mi favorita es RICHARD HELL AND THE VOIVODS (love comes in spurts, oh no it hurts!!!)

Mencion honorifica a Television,New York Dolls,Mc5 y es claro, falta Wayne County and the ORIGINAL Backstreet Boys ( down at Max's Kansas City!!)

De todas las bandas que he mencionado, tengo discos o tapes. No posteo o pongo bandas en una encuesta que nunca he escuchado, como por ejemplo, la de Wayne County and the Backstreet Boys. No te pongas a hablar mierda si no me conoces.

Tengo un solo problema:

los Silver Apples no fueron una banda proto punk...mas bien los pioneros al incorporar elementos electrónicos a la música "pop"...

Ellos junto a los United States of America son la ostia consagrada!

De proto punk me voy por los MC5 los Stooges y los Velvets....


mencion honorifica a los 13th Floor ELevators....

Me han hablado mucho de The United States of America.Cual me recomiendas de ellos? De the Silver Apples me encanta "Contact", que lamentablemente es el unico que poseo. Fucking brain melting oscilators! Los puse por que los considero "ground-breaking" y su actitud era una revolucionaria, mas o menos al igual que las demas que mencione, aunque , como dices, su influencia se nota mas en bandas como Cabaret Voltaire y Suicide que en bandas punk tradicionales.

U$A solo sacaron un disco circa 67-68...lo consigues en Amazon o Cd now o en cualquier P2P....un trabajo excepcional!

De las Manzanas Plateadas solo esta el cd de Contact que tiene los dos discos de estudio (self-tittled y contact) y el disco en vivo (beacon). Tambien hicieron un disco en split con Spectrum (a lake of teardrops) pero realmente no es nada del otro jueves. Lo mejor de ellos son esos dos primeros discos.

Esas dos bandas son de mis all time favorites.



Btw, te gusto la versión sonora de 'WE'?

Escuche "Intervals". Chilling but serene, very beautiful, and moving. Sort of like Popol Vuh's soundtracks. Y dejame decirte que al ponerlo en contexto con la novela, se me pararon los pelos de punta. You kick that fucker Graeme Revell's ass, let me tell ya.

"The Glass Buildings"! That little bass tone, oh man... spine chilling!!! It brought tears to my eyes and an intense feeling of nostalgia... just beautiful. I had not been moved by an ambient piece of music like this in ages (not since Main "Hz").
