As previously reported, FEAR FACTORY have officially signed a new record deal with Liquid 8 (parent company of D3 Entertainment) in the U.S. and Roadrunner Records in Europe. "Archetype" is currently being recorded at Rumbo Recorders in Los Angeles with engineer Ken Marshall (SKINNY PUPPY) for a tentative April 2004 release. Meanwhile, according to the official newsletter for singer Burton C. Bell's ASCENSION OF THE WATCHERS side project, Bell is currently in Pennsylvania at the studio of longtime FEAR FACTORY collaborator/keyboardist John Bechdel working on some new AOTW tracks, including two titled "Mars Becoming" and "Numinosum". Burton is reportedly "VERY enthusiastic" about these new songs. No further information is available at this time.
