Eso es correcto. Leí en alguna página que la banda supo reconocer que lo de ellos fue pura "suerte", por decirlo así, y que no eran más que un "party band" y se retiraron a los clubes y barras.

Huey Lewis salió en "Duets" con Gwyneth Paltrow, y grabó una canción con ella.

Para mí tampoco es un golpe de suerte. Sin embargo, encuentro noble el que acepten lo que la vida (y el mercado) les presenta. La norma parece ser, "mientras más subo en la escala de fama, menos quiero volver a bajar", pero un artista que ama su trabajo lo hace donde quiera. No dudo que el cambio de estilo de vida (propinado por el dinero y la fama) sea difícil, pero a fin de cuentas lo que importa es que están viviendo de lo que aman.

Kudos to Huey Lewis & the News.

El que esten tocando en barras no significa que esten cobrado $1000.00 por show. Traiganlos para aca para coaches a ver si va a ser suficiente. Si huey lewis vuiene a Puerto Rico yo definitivamente voy a verlos. necesitarian al menos el anfi o le teatro y la gente pagaria igual que lo que estan pagando en los concerts de ahora. Pues tienen muchos mas exitos que muchas de las bandas que han venido.

En abril de este año los vi en Universal Studios por la noche en el Mardi Gras que ellos realizan (demensia total). Tambien tiraron un DVD nuevo, muy bueno de hecho !!!!

Brother tu no los viste en Behind the Music...estan super bien!!! y Huey sale diciendo eso de la suerte y que ellos son felices con tocar de vez en cuando pa curarse, pues el tipo ya tenia 30 años cuando pegó la primera canción y ya han pasado mas de 20!!! por eso sale jugando golf tranquilo al final del behind, disfrutando los $$$$$$$$

Huey Lewis es una banda excelente, excelentes musicos, saben lo que es hacer un catchy tune sin que sea silly o cheesy. Si vinieran a PR iria a verlos sin duda, son parte del soundtrack de mi pre-adolescencia y adolescencia.
